Facilitator's Note, May 11

Dear Life Sciences Supermind,

Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed to the platform—keep up the great work, it’s inspiring to see so many wonderful contributions and conversations occurring! If you haven’t been able to contribute yet, we hope you will be able to engage during Phase 2 of the process!

We have updates regarding three topics:

  1. Phase 2 starts this week
We have now entered Phase 2 of the Life Sciences Supermind exercise, which runs until Sunday, May 16. During this phase, we would like you to submit contributions that are in domain areas where you are less comfortable. If you’re comfortable in all the domain areas, we’re asking you to be even more creative. We’d love to see everyone push the envelope this week!

  2. New Challenge Area
We’d also like to remind you about the new, recently added challenge area: Ending the Current Pandemic: India and Beyond. We hope you can contribute ideas on how to manage the current pandemic, including strategies to address the urgent needs in areas like India. We also welcome your thoughts about how best to address additional outbreaks that will likely occur around the world in coming months and years.

  3. Synchronous Super Sessions
We have two more synchronous Super Sessions scheduled. These are virtual, small group discussions that will give Supermind participants an opportunity to connect with one other and engage in rich dialogue around a particular topic.

If you would like to participate in one of the Super Sessions, please email Meraly Therrien Meraly.Therrien@milliporesigma.com by the requested date. In your message, please be sure to include the topic and/or date of the session(s) you would like to join.
